I got love for you if you were born in the 80's.

I really like the eightys. I don't know why, I just smile and feel all fuzzy inside whenever I see dusty neon jackes or watch "Blissful 80's" on Bliss. The 80's says to me "I look like a retarded bag of skittles, but I don't mind". I like that. I know I'm NOT an eightys child; I was born in 1990, and my main sources are my mum and "Desperatley Seeking Susan". I love Madonna in that film.

The Young Ones is 80's comic genious

This is inescapable 80's

And it translates well to today fashions, as shown by the Acaedemy of Art's examples from New York Fashion Week from 2007.

Yes, I really like the 80's.

It is always good to take a look behind the scenes.

Stockholm Treats

There are a few style blogs I visit very regularly, of course the excellent Sartorialist, Facehunter, Altamira NYC etc which you have all certainly frequented.

But there is one, named Stockholm Street Style, which for me always tops the rest. It documents style from a charming range of ages and shapes and always refreshing me with looks that I would never usually see where I live.

And, after making use of the handy Google translate tool, I can find out exactly where it came from.

Here are some of my current favourite looks:

The runner of Milk

I link you again, and goodnight:

Katie Holmes in Go

I admired her adolescent messiness and it seemed to nurture a dormant fondness for 90s grunge. I advise you watch the whole film, see if you can get a little inspired.

Erin Wasson X RVCA

You've probably already heard of this.

But I decided to make it my first post because I don't feel I'm nearly ready to start showing the world my own styling creations, but feel more comfortable admiring that of an icon such as Erin Wasson. This collection for RVCA summarises the kind of aesthetic I am constantly chasing with my own style.

Not to mention the LD Tuttle cutout boots featured in the collection. From here on in, I am saving up for some of those.

Here you are:
